Two Simple Dice Games
Two Easy Games with Dice for Groups
Six Lives
2 or more players
Each player has one dice in front of himself and an additional two dice are designated as game dice. Each player turns his own personal dice with the six on top, representing his six lives.
In the first round, each player rolls the 2 game dice, remembering his score – the sum of the 2 dice. After all have played in a round, the player with the lowest score loses a life and turns his dice accordingly (from 6 to 5 in the first round.)
The game continues with the rounds, and a player loses one life every round. If there is a tie for lowest score, both players lose a life. When a player loses all of his lives, he no longer participates in the game. The winner is the last player left.
CLR – Center Left Right
3 or more players
Each player has three pennies or any 3 identical coins or tokens set in front of him. Three dice are used for play. The dice are valued as follows:
1 Left
3 Center
5 Right
2,4,6 No action
The first player rolls the 3 dice all at once, and the results tell him what to do with the coins. Each dice is analyzed separately. A 1 (LEFT) dice means passing a coin to the player on the left. A 3 (CENTER) dice means passing a coin to the center pot. A 5 (RIGHT) dice means passing a coin to the right. Rolling a 2, 4, or 6 requires no action with the coins. Pass the 3 dice to the player on the left.
Play goes on around the table with the result that more and more coins end up in the center pot. If a player only has 1 or 2 coins, he rolls that same number of dice for his turn. When a player does not have any coins, he is still in the game but does not roll, he passes the dice to the next player. The final player with coin(s) is the winner and gets to keep the center pot!
